Using Virtual Router, you can share any internet connection (Wifi, LAN, Cable Modem, Dial-up, Cellular, etc.) with any Wifi device (Laptop, Smart Phone, iPod Touch, iPhone, Android Phone, Zune, Netbook, wireless printer, etc.). The devices connect to Virtual Router just like any other access point. Coming to more details regarding on how secure the connection will be - connection is completely secured using Wi-Fi Protected Access II (WPA2). WPA2 is developed to secure wireless computer networks by Wi-Fi Alliance. You can get more info regarding the WPA2 technology here
Virtual Router can be used anywhere you wish i.e at home, office, airport, school etc. It is easy to use virtual router, just download the software from here and install it in your pc. After installing, open the virtual router software then give a name to the 'Network Name (SSID)', give a password in the password field and select the connection type that you want to share with other devices. To make sure the connection is secure we implemented WPA2 technology and the password you choose will be of 8 character length with which makes it harder for anyone to crack the password. So, with the recent update we have made the virtual router a stable software and can be used anywhere with almost all the windows versions such as windows 2003, xp, vista, 7 and windows 8.
